Why? Why Adopt?

We’d like to share a series of questions that we regularly receive about our decision to adopt. Today, we would like to start with everyone’s first question. Why?

Why? Why are we adopting? It’s simple, really. We were lost without the Lord, yet He chose to save us. He adopted us into His family when we didn’t deserve it, and now we are called to care for the orphans and widows. Numerous children in this world don’t know the safety and love a family provides them, but we can change that for a few kids. We can invite children into our home and family to lavish them with love, all in effort to follow our God’s example of adopting us. 

So, why? We are adopted; therefore, we adopt.
